hey my nifty thrifties ❤ If you’re a big thrifter like my friends and me, you’re probably going through MAJOR withdrawals right now. I think we can all say that we just want to be stuck in a random thrift store full of sweaty people trying to grab the best clothes, furniture, houseware, etc. WELL, I can’t give you the experience of thrifting BUT if you want to shop online but still want to make sure you’re shopping slow fashion, here are some of my favorite vintage/secondhand stores that you can shop virtually. Bump up some raingurl by Yaeji and let’s GO!

1. Aarica Nichole Vintage $$

effortlessly stylish vintage + upcycled handmade goods

So this is one of my FAVORITE online vintage shops there is. I’ve bought countless things from here and have never had any feelings other than pure joy :’) Two of my favorite things about this shop are that it always has free shipping and Aarica always ships things very quickly! You don’t have to wait too long to get your special item. In the pictures below, you can see some of my favorite items that I’ve purchased from this shop.

2. LYNK Studio on Depop $$

High-end vintage sourced from Miami, FL

OK OK OK, not trying to shamelessly self-promote but I’m telling you, LYNK has got what you need. We’ve been updating our Depop with clothes daily. We have tons of clothes in all different sizes and styles. Our current deal is 20% off a bundle of 3+ items and free shipping. In general, if you don’t have the Depop app, YOU GOTTA GET ON IT! But fear not, you can also just shop depop.com on your laptop. If you don’t have a Depop and are having serious shopping pangs, I would definitely get it and check out all of the other amazing shops on there too! There are some real gems. In the pictures below, you’ll see a few items that are currently featured in our shop.

3. Lisa Says Gah $$$

In a world of fast-fashion, our goal is to have a home for the artists of the industry. Shop the latest independent, cult-loved fashion brands.

This is one of my favorite slow fashion online shops there is! Although the prices can be pretty steep, I definitely think you can find some winning items of very high quality that you’ll keep forever. They have such a fun, eclectic collection of things from different brands all in one place! I have yet to actually buy anything from here because usually the items I want sell out in MINUTES but I’m close to losing my mind and just binge shopping so we’ll see!

4. Goodwill Bluebox $

We print original designs on recycled & salvage apparel in collaboration with artists and designers to reduce textile waste.

This is seriously such a gem of a shop. They have frequent drops of LOADS of amazing clothing. And the best part are their low prices. I think the best thing to do is to follow them on Instagram and keep up with their stories to see their drops. But you can shop online seamlessly as well! Fun fact: I’ve somehow won 2 of their giveaways for some fun, funky items and I just want more! Check out my feature on their IG below (wearing the Whoopi Goldberg tshirt I won in their giveaway).

5. Bitchy Vintage $$

Statement vintage for funky bitches.

Last but NOT least, you wanna be a funky bitch? Shop at Bitchy Vintage, duh! I’ve been following their Instagram account for a while and have yet to shop here, but I have my eye on a few amazing pieces. Every item has so much character and style, it’s easy to find a statement piece that’ll last you a lifetime in this shop.

Welcome boob troop! Welcome to the journey that is the hip nip. I’m currently a college student pursuing Digital Media Studies in sometimes-sunny-sometimes-hurricaney Florida! I’m passionate about my major but I’m also adrenalized when I’m talking about fashion and lifestyle trends. I always find myself scrolling through fashion blogs and lookbooks of my favorite companies and realize that hours have passed and I have to start studying for my midterm that’s only 10 hours away. I hope some of you will be inspired by this blog or at least find it entertaining! If anyone wants to reach out and give me suggestions or collaborate, please feel free to contact me through the contact page or through any social media link that you can find on my blog. 🙂 Stay on point, the hip nip
