hey my boob troop🍷 I have a lil’ wine glass out here for you guys because this post is VERY EXCITING! It’s about my recent trip to Georgia’s annual Wine Highway! I’m going to get into it but first, put on this song and let’s get jammin’: Deceiver by Chris Lake & Green Velvet.
SO. What is Wine Highway? Basically, it’s during one week in March sponsored by The Winegrowers Association of Georgia. It takes place in Northeast Georgia and a bunch of vineyards/wineries participate. You pay $50 [YUP, you heard me right… FIFTY DOLLA] and you can go vineyard hopping and get 4-5 wine tastings at each vineyard!! There are about 30 vineyards that participate if I’m not mistaken. Besides wine tastings, you get a Wine Highway wine glass to try all the wines in and a Wine Highway Passport where you can see all the participating vineyards and mark off where you’ve been!
So I’m gonna break this ish down for ya. I went with Kuza and her amazing parents (who were nice enough to treat me to the whole damn thing!!!) (I’m gonna cry ❤ ). We stayed in a beautiful cabin in the mountains and just drank wine all day long. Honestly, what more could you ask for?
I’m going to go through and share my favorite wine from each vineyard that we went to so you can get a feel of the experience!
On the third day, we went to ATLANTA, GAWGIA and had the most amazing time. Just so you can get a little look into that:
Here’s a little slideshow of the rest of our trip! It was such an amazing time. I definitely recommend making a little weekend trip out of this for Wine Highway 2020!
stay on point,
