what’s up my hippie nippies! I’m back here with a new outfit post (also mostly thrifted!!) This one is a little less colorful than I usually do BUT I’ve been finding lots of nice grey & blacks at the thrift store lately and I am about it. This is another “WORK@WERK” outfit – which means it’s something that I wear to work while keeping my personal style & flair alive! To check out my last WERK@WORK post, click here. Anyway, start listening to Check (with RAYE) by Kojo Funds and let’s get it bumpin’.
So the big winner of this outfit (to me) is the pants. I actually got them as a Christmas gift ❤ from Kuza! She went out and thrifted two items for me and a few other friends and got them custom embroidered by Cami Embroidery! Like.. who IS dis bitch? #blessed
I love these pants bc not only are they special, they fit pretty well and can be worn to work or out day to day! They’re slightly big at the waist but nothing a belt can’t fix! Since the embroidery on the back (see below) is in red, I decided to pair it with a red belt I got at my last thrifting spree. Yes, the embroidery says “Yashi” – I’m still crying.
I decided to wear my fun studded heels and glittery socks to add some FUNK to this ‘fit. Since I did that, I kept it simple with a black t-shirt that I cut to be a crop top. If you want to recreate this for work but don’t want to/can’t show any skin, just get a longer tee or a tee you can tuck in and it’ll keep the same vibe!
To complete the look, I added this teeny tiny black beaded purse and called it a damn day.
I had so much fun styling this entire outfit around these pants!! I hope this only makes you guys want to thrift more / experiment with clothes you may already have!
stay on point,
