hey party peeeeople! I’m really excited for my next few outfit posts on here because so far all of the ones I’ve shot (3) incorporate at least ONE item from my last thrifting spree! If you haven’t already, check out my two IGTV videos here & here that are parts 1 and 2 of my Thrift Haul – including everything I bought with prices (they will legit SHOCK you). So for this post, I incorporated one of the items I bought and styled it with a few different pieces to make an easy breezy look. Go ahead and listen to Hijo De Su Madre by Omar Apollo and read on ❤ Make sure to scroll all the way down to shop this ‘fit (and similar items to the ones I thrifted).

So, I basically created this outfit around this thrifted linen skirt I got (FOR $7!!) a few weeks ago. I’m totally obsessed with it and love how easy and breezy it is.

Please ignore the wrinkles, I promise I ironed it but the iron wasn’t hot enough (l o l). So this skirt sits a little below my waist when I wear it without a belt. I decided to pair it with another thrifted item I got, which is this dark green leather belt that I got for $2! The belt is great for high-waisted pieces so I decided to just use it as a way to tighten this skirt up and wear it around my waist rather than getting it tailored.

I paired the skirt with this crochet/lace lace-up top that I recently got. This outfit can definitely be for a casual day out or for a nicer event/outing depending on how you style it! I decided to style it with some pop of color – and I’m super into blue rn (and always, honestly).

So I wore these pointed slides and grabbed my new (obsession) beaded purse to add some fun pops! I think this made it more of a casual day ‘fit which is perfect for me!

You’ll also notice that I decided to omit the neck candy and just let this cute off-shoulder top steal the attention! I did wear my silver bracelets and rings, though because I gotta wear SOMETHIN’. you know me 😉

I hope you guys enjoyed this outfit post and especially the way I styled thrifted items! Definitely make sure to check out my IGTV videos here & here and shop the links below ❤

Welcome boob troop! Welcome to the journey that is the hip nip. I’m currently a college student pursuing Digital Media Studies in sometimes-sunny-sometimes-hurricaney Florida! I’m passionate about my major but I’m also adrenalized when I’m talking about fashion and lifestyle trends. I always find myself scrolling through fashion blogs and lookbooks of my favorite companies and realize that hours have passed and I have to start studying for my midterm that’s only 10 hours away. I hope some of you will be inspired by this blog or at least find it entertaining! If anyone wants to reach out and give me suggestions or collaborate, please feel free to contact me through the contact page or through any social media link that you can find on my blog. 🙂 Stay on point, the hip nip
