I scream, you scream, we all scream for… The Museum of Ice Cream! I have a special post for you guys today, my review on the MOIC Miami Pop Up. This museum is hitting major cities around the country and now it’s in Miami at Faena! So my friends and I decided to buy our tickets early and get our fat asses there. So listen to Dive by Coast Modern and read on!
So, I’m going to be honest. The museum was adorable and definitely a fun time, BUT, it was not worth the ticket price. The ticket (with taxes and everything), turned out to be $45 per person. This is already way more than I would have normally spent but since I saw all of the pictures from the San Fran museum, I thought it would be worth it. Especially since it’s only in Miami for a little while!
I got really in the spirit of ice cream and wore all pastels from head to toe. Even my makeup was a pastel palette.
With that being said, I did think that there were a lot of cute things at the museum and it was definitely fun to walk around!
When you first walk in, you see these little circular things that say different facts about ice cream or even just cute things like “ice cream kween”. There’s also this little bench filled with sprinkles, a nice touch 😉 And this “fortune teller” that you talk to and she guesses what your favorite ice cream flavor is! She didn’t guess any of ours, but hey I like every flavor.
In every room, there were little ice cream treats which was amazing! What sucked is that there weren’t any vegan options, which sounds like no big deal but in Miami where so many people are vegan (including my girl Nish in the selfie up top), it’s sad that they can’t get in on the treats.
I loved this room because it was jungle themed and it had this little cherry wrecking ball type thing that you could swing around on! Peep the deets of my pastel outfit in the first pic 😉
This popsicle installation was one of the main attractions, super cute and colorful fosho.
Another main attraction was the sprinkle pool! Filled with (plastic) sprinkles, so your clothes don’t get messed the f up. It was fun but you go in for 5 minutes and then you have to get out for the next group, so kinda eh at the end of it.
All in all, it was a fun time but I don’t think I would recommend spending that much money on a ticket for this museum 😦 Maybe if it’s a special occasion, yes! But not for a day out with the ladies.
stay on point,
I missed my chance when it was here in LA
but it still looks cute for photos but def not worth $45! Loved the cherry wrecking ball!

You guys are literally making
Me feel so much FOMO!!! I want to go so bad but would be afraid to fall into the temptation!! Especially, like you said, them not having vegan options. Nish, girl, I feel you.
Thanks for being honest about the pricing and everything because since I can’t feally get in on the treats – I basically just loved the museum through this post! Lol
