hey boob troop! This is my last post for you guys before I go to … *drum roll* …. Boston and New York City! I’m going to be there for about two weeks so I’ll definitely make some travel logs on my favorite places there as well as budgeting/outfits, whatever else I can manage to throw in! But for now, here is another “Miami Fall” outfit post, including some shorts because you know it’s not cold here yet. So listen to New Rules by Dua Lipa and enjoy! Like I said in my previous post, I’m so into this orange palette for the fall. My last outfit was in a burnt sienna color and this one is more of a darker pumpkin (or WHATEVER, you get the point).
I actually stole this shirt from my mom recently and she’s had it for as long as I can remember! I love the fact that it’s a button down because styling button downs in different styles and shapes is very in. I kept it simple and just tied the bottom flaps to make it a little crop top and let the rest of the shirt do the talking. It has a bunch of frillies at the chest area and little layered bell sleeves, which makes the top a little bohemian and very extra (my two favorite things).
Since it’s still HEHT as hell in Miami, I couldn’t wear anything long with this long-sleeved top. So I wore simple blue denim shorts. I like this deep, vibrant blue denim with this top because it makes it stand out even more than a more washed, lighter color. But it depends on what kind of look you’re going for!
I paired this outfit with my favorite sparkly silver socks and white pumas.
I went a little funky with this outfit and paired these yellow sunnies and clear yellow handbag with it! At first I wasn’t sure if it would go with this outfit but I think it made it look kinda retro & different, which I’m all about!
So this outfit is really simple and definitely would be a day outfit for an on-the-go chica who has a bunch of sh*t to do and might catch some lunch with friends in between 😉
I hope you guys enjoyed this post and can throw something simple together like this for this fall ❤
stay on point,
