hi errybody! I hope everyone’s finals are going well/studying is going well. tomorrow is my last day of exams and then I’m FREE 🙂 I took a day off from pretending to study and partnered up with Stephanie Arvelo, a really sweet and super talented photographer. She’s based here in Miami but she’s moving to NYC in a month! She’s one of the few people who can actually make me look natural and not completely creepy and awkward in outfit photos. So check out the shoot I did with her and listen to Bed Peace by Jhene Aiko feat. Childish Gambino.
So, I’m really excited about this outfit. I’ve been really into tulle and I was able to snag this awesome tulle and embroidered dress. (make sure to scroll all the way down for outfit links). Obviously, tulle means that the dress is see through so you have to wear something underneath it (or don’t, das cool with me). I wore a bodysuit and leather shorts to cover the scandalous areas but still wanted the dress to be the main focus.
I love the embroidery on this dress. It adds something extra to it and I’m a sucker for any kind of embroidery. The best part is that it’s on my nips so they were extra hip that day! I also wore this dainty eye choker to go with the outfit but with all the stuff going on, I don’t think it was absolutely essential!
I love baggy clothes with a lot of movement and this dress was perfect for that obsession of mine. With every step I took and every breath of wind, my outfit was flying. (am I a poet or something? that was beautiful…)
I wore a fat black watch and two gold bangles for accessories but I think that too much arm candy would’ve been a lot for the eye with this outfit.
I paired the outfit with the most dynamic, flowy bag I have because I’m just extra like that. I’m also very into the soft/hard trend. Meaning the ‘soft’ outfit with something floral and delicate and then the ‘hard’ shoes/boots. So I wore the soft dress and the hard hat, boots, and purse.
stay on point,
