hey gal pals and guy…pies? I’m hitting y’all up with another OOTD post! This one is my take on a transition from summer to fall and it’s another dark bohemian edge kinda outfit which I’ve been into. So read on and listen to Is it Love by 3LAU (new song obsession shown to me by The Caffeinated Kuza, of course).

So I was feeling pretty edgy which is why I wore an all black outfit with this white bomber jacket. My sandals add that boho breeze that I love so much and they’re a grey/lilac mix which I matched up with my grey suede choker! This jacket puts the bomb in bomber because of the crazy patches all over it! This jacket actually came with patches on but you can just as easily buy a plain bomber jacket and patches and add those suckers on yourself. I think that even though patches are really in and trendy right now, they can be something that won’t ever go out of style or look weird.

So for my top, I wore a simple flow black crop top with a strappy black bralette underneath. I love all the straps going on in this outfit because it makes it a little chaotic and confusing which I adore. I also wore this grey suede string and wrapped it around as a choker and threw on my favorite reflective sunnies.

Underneath all dat, I wore my new black lace up jeans that I freakin’ love. They’re so badass and edgy and different! I feel like these could be a cool DIY for your old pair of black jeans but I got these Carmar jeans on sale for just $28 so my lazy self just bought them. I paired the whole outfit with my suede envelope fringe cross body. It added some movement and spice to the outfit. When I wear plain colors/plain outfits, I like to add some dynamic to it to make it more interesting (straps, purse, braids, etc.)

In the next two photos you can see a closer up shot of the lace up jeans and my shoes/anklets. SORRY I didn’t really shave my legs ok?? Just chill, it’s called feminism. So these strappy sandals and anklets were a last minute outfit decision. I was actually going to wear my new pastel pink pumas but I felt like wearing sandals for one last time before fall officially begins. I thought the anklets went well with the shoes and added a beachy juxtaposition to the outfit as a whole. It’s a little weird but, hey, gotta take some risks.

Finally, for the arm/hand candy, I wore a few simple gold rings on each hand and some bracelets that matched my anklets on my left arm! I also added in some fall colored bracelets on the left arm to ease that transition. On my right arm (my mess) are just the bracelets I wear everyday which includes my dreamcatcher friendship bracelet with my girl Jodi and the mosquito repellent band my mom bought me so I don’t get Zika.

I hope you guys like this summer to fall transition outfit and get some inspo from it! Don’t forget to always keep to your own style. Even if you think it doesn’t work, trust me, it does.

stay on point,
