I’m so excited about this post! I’m going to be talking about my experience at Miami Swim Week that just ended earlier this week 😥 Listen to Generationwhy by ZHU for some funky swim week vibes while reading!
So I had a super busy week but managed to make it out on Friday and Monday for some Swim Week events while my friends and fellow bloggers got to go on Saturday and Sunday too (sob). But those two events were amazing and made me feel like I was 100x chicer and cooler than I actually am.
DAY ONE
The first event that we attended was the Tash and Dev Pop Up at SOHO Beach House. The event was hosted by Natasha Oakley and Devin Brugman, founders of A Bikini A Day. We got on the list and were able to get in to the event which took place in one of the rooms at the beach house. I already felt important walking into the SOHO Beach House but when I walked into that extravagant as hell room with an amazing view… that was game over!
At the pop up, they had bikinis by Monday Swimwear and activewear by Monday Active and I was so tempted to look through everything but knew I would drop hundreds of dollars that mama dzon’t have… But everything looked great (especially because Tash and Dev rocked all the swim and active wear on the screens).
In the next room, there were models showcasing Frank Body products. The best part… we got to take the products for freeeezy! I got a body cream, creamy face scrub, and peppermint body scrub. I promise if I had taken a tote bag instead of a small clutch, I would’ve gotten at least 5 of everything.
The best part was going to the balcony for two reasons: 1. getting this cute ass picture of my neck candy and new bralette body chain from Spin Gallery and 2. MEETING TASH AND DEV! They were so friendly and gorgeous and it was definitely the highlight of Swim Week!
The next event we went to was one we sort of snuck into? We just took the stairs down a few floors to a rooftop event hosted by Pitusa (which had the cutest ethnic boho vibes). I LOVED how the rooftop was decorated and the best part was that squad got to bust out a few moves even though we were the only ones… It was a good way to end the night because we got to watch the sunset ❤
DAY TWO
On Monday, we went to a rooftop event at the New World Center which featured different designers. I loved this event because everywhere you looked, there were models wearing bikinis and clothes that I would die for! ALSO there was a videographer who got some shots of my friends and me and he said we’d be on Doral Venezuelan TV Saturday July 23rd so if you can.. TUNE IN AM I RIGHT?
We took over the set up by the models above ^ and took our own cute photos 😉 Trust me when I say I enhanced the second photo to make sure that my prickly leg hairs didn’t show up…
All in all, it was a great swim week and I definitely had some great times with people who love the same shet that I do!
Thank you for reading 🙂
stay on point,
