Hi my boob troop!
As promised, I’m keeping consistent with my posts. I’m really trying to gear this blog to be more lifestyle than just fashion itself. I have a few ideas on how to do that but just need to execute them :\. Hopefully starting in one month (after spring break when I have time to work on it) I’ll have more unique posts and lifestyle hacks for you guys! But for now, crank up the volume on Intoxicated by Martin Solveig & GTA and check out this outfit.
I’m really digging this neutral black, white, & grey color palette these days (notice the matching warehouse door behind me 😉 ). I think it’s because February in Miami has been super weird this year. Winter is over and spring is approaching but it’s still chilly (by Miami standards). So I’m not quite ready to break out my spring colors yet so I’ve been wearing outfits like this a lot.
I’m into this sweater/skort combination. As you can see from the photo above, the shapes kind of go together well. The sleeves of the sweater and the front skirt part of the sort have the same-ish shape. It’s way more obvious in this photo since the wind is conveniently making a guest appearance but you get the idea. Since the weather has been kinda spotty, I’ve been wearing light sweaters and shorts/skirts a lot because I’m warm enough when it’s windy but also not sweating when the sun comes out.
I’m obsessed with embroidery on anything. It just makes any piece more interesting. So I think that the texture of the white paisley on this sweater really made it unique. It’s embroidered with thread and outlined with small white beads. Seriously styles up a simple crew neck sweater. The texture of the skort is pretty thick and sporty but the femininity of the sweater and strappy sandals bring the outfit together. You guys know I’m obsessed with this fringe backpack so of course I added it to the outfit. I also really like mixing patterns and the best compliment I got this week was from someone in my class who said, “You just mix random patterns together and it works.” :’)
Um okay pardon my bulging veins ^ (puke). I kept the jewelry super simple for this one because too much would’ve just looked out of place. I wore a few simple gold rings, this watch that went really well with the outfit and ONE bracelet. Honestly, I should get a damn award for limiting myself on the accessories.
I wore this simple black choker with little baby charms on it to finish the outfit off and continue with that grey, white, & black color palette. Super simple but still sticking to my style!
I honestly just put the photo because I thought it was cool…
stay on point,
